  16. Great build (will donate), fastest I have seen! The dialog that gives option to Wait if app hangs is great and saves having to kill lots of apps. Battery life seems slightly improved too. Switching from wifi to 3g still fails sometimes though.

  17. When setting an alarm with 0.18 my phone goes like no battery the day after (could not reboot, nothing on screen, no LED). So it seems there is something wrong with the alarm. I had to remove the battery to reboot again.
    I have HTC Desire.

    1. I experience the same problem. Put my phone (without charging) over the night but with plenty battery capacity and all Wifi/3G/bluetooth/etc features disabled. Wake up the morning after, telephone dead and only way to recover is to remove battery and charge. Once rebooted, it can show something like 50-60% battery. This is a bit annoying, as I can't trust the phone. Any idea?

  19. This is a great rom. But i have a few minor issues. First of all: typing in websites, like here and now, is quite slow. Annoying sometimes, but i can live with that. Second: i noticed wifi reception is kinda weak compared to my stock froyo or CM7 gingerbread. E.g. i used to work perfectly on wifi before while taking a bath or so, now i have almost no reception, and have to move my phone around searching for a descent signal. My router is a linksys wrt 320n, but on wifi-g as my laptop doesnt support wifi-n. Apart from this, awesome rom. Using it daily for a week now. Keep up the good work!

    1. hello again...

ironicly, 1 day after my previous post, my desire had quite an awefull crash... took me a few days to figure out what exactly was wrong.

      here's what went wrong:
it all started last thursday. my desire had a minor glitch, and did a soft reboot. nothing serious i figured.. i entereddmy pin and let the phone boot ahead. then it gave a message "new sim entered, reboot phone for access to mobile network" so i hit reboot, as this was the only option. after booting, android started optimizing applications again, like after inserting the a2sd command. but, i noticed the amount of apps it was optimizing was totally wrong. so after completion of the optimizing i went to check and all my installed apps were gone... after further inspection, i noticed the phone refused to accept my sd card, and my wifi refused to turn on. my first thought was: the os failed on me, i need a reinstall.
now, booting into clockworkmod recovery, trying to select the zip of the rom that was still on the sd. but even clockworkmod recovery did not find my SD. (slightly panicing now) so i put my microsd in my cardreader, and windows found it. woop! taking backup from data! just to be shure. after that, i spent 2 days serching google for a solution, the phone still was faulty, and i came across some ppl with the same symptoms, and everyone said the same: USB brick. so i spent hours to solve this conundrum, at no avail. eventually i started inspecting the sd a little further. and noticed i could read it, but not write to it. i was unable to format it, remove partitions (neither in windows or linux) every time the same error: device is write potected... luckyly, my girlfriend gave me permission to test it with her SD card, and it worked! it never was the phone, my sd just gave up!

so today, i went to the store to replace it (came from a class 4, got a class 10 for free, woop!) partitioned it with fat32, ext3 and swap, copyd all backuped data to the card, and reinstalled a fresh ICS. everything works fine again..

now, i dont know my card just died on me, or the ICS had something to do with it. but it may be something to look at. for now, all is working fine again. but if the problem returns, i will defenitly let u know.

      regards.

  20. Google Now always FC when it's open. Anyone?

  21. Just tried that today for the first time and it looks so-far-so-well. Just a little feature request -- can you disable some of the integrated apps like Play Music, Voice, GMail (there's already the Mail app), etc. The internal memory is limited enough.

  24. Hi all,

I tried to install the beta 0.18.1, i am a noobie in installing personnalized ROMs. After the installation, the boot is apparently blocked on the animated logo "Evervol". Is this normal for you ?

What I have done as a prerequesite :

    installed revolutionary tool
    partioned my sd card differently
    Wipe all.

    Best regards.

    1. I had that too, on first boot. I pulled the battery out, and let it boot again. Worked after that
Just have a little patience, it will start and shine :) but first boot can take a while.. do remember this os is made for multicore cpu's, and the desire is single core..

  25. I am finding the dedicated work of Sandvold to be crucial for having the best ROM for a Desire Bravo. These builds are fantastic.
The only problem I found with the 0.18.1 build was that the T9 keyboard that I prefer to use would not be saved as the default keyboard so would have to be swapped out after every reboot.

There is not such issue with build 0.17. so am currently very happy with that until a future build resolves that little niggle.

Other than that I've found this to be the most stable ICS build for my phone since testing various custom ROMs.

    Keep up the excellent work.

  27. Hi all. I have a problem with this version as well as 0.18.2

It appears that after running a2sd on my HTC Desire, and install some apps from google play, gets stuck on the boot Evervol for ever.

    Do you have any suggestions?

    1. I have the same problem on my HTC Desire (bravo)... Complete reinstall did not fix the problem.

First boot after installation works, but any attempt to boot tha phone afterwards results in the Evervol logo being displayed forever...

      Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks

    2. Solution: Do *not* setup your Google account on the first boot after the installation! Ignoring this step and declining any Google location service option worked for me.
